[TPIN] Had I a gig which tune would I like to play?

Jazz standards, bebop & latin. I like to start with some up-tempo or
swining tunes in the 2nd set (1st set is a warm-up)... then move to
latins (Jobim) and ballads (so folks can dance). End with a big,
raukus tune that everyone recognizes and the group can have fun with.
(i.e., Blues in the Night is a classic - especially if you've got a
singer...let everyone play a few blues choruses - bring your plunger
mute...).

Most important thing is to have fun. If you do, the audience will -
especially on New Years.

Heading out..

Cheers!
